Meet Flo.

Hi! I’m Floryntina, a Perth-based calligrapher and artist.

I fell in love with calligraphy in 2019 and haven’t looked back since. What started as a simple fascination with beautiful handwriting quickly became a passion. I practised endlessly, exploring new techniques and trying my hand at engraving, bottle painting, and even hot foiling – anything to bring my creative ideas to life!

In 2020, I started my little business, Lovinga Designs, which I rebranded to Floryntina in 2025. These days, I specialise in on-site brand activations, bottle painting, hand engraving, and luxury ink calligraphy. Whether it’s making event place cards extra special or creating unique gifting experiences, I love helping people add that personal, heartfelt touch. I’ve been lucky enough to work with amazing brands like Porsche, Perth Mint, Bunnings and many luxurious event planners.

I’m also the co-founder of Space For Us, a community-focused project I started with my friend Joanna. Our motto, “where community trumps competition,” says it all. We’re here to support Perth creatives, especially because starting out can be so overwhelming and lonely. Since I had no guidance when I began my calligraphy journey, I’m really passionate about helping others explore their creative outlets and even turn them into dream businesses.

Hi, I’m Joanna—co-founder of Space For Us, a pressed flower artist, and a big believer in the power of creativity to bring people together. I’ve spent the last 8 years turning meaningful blooms into timeless heirlooms, preserving the special stories they carry. For me, flower pressing isn’t just an art—it’s a way to freeze a moment in time and honour the beauty of life’s milestones.

My journey with pressed flowers began as a personal passion, but it quickly grew into a fulfilling career and a way to connect with others. Hosting workshops taught me that creativity is a powerful tool for building community, and I realized I wanted to do even more to support people on their creative paths. That’s how Space For Us was born.

Through Space For Us, I get to blend my love of art with my dedication to fostering connections. Whether it’s teaching a hands-on workshop, collaborating with fellow creatives, or helping someone take the first step toward their dream, I’m here to encourage and empower.

When I’m not pressing flowers or working on our next big idea, you’ll likely find me drawing, listening to podcasts, or experimenting with a new craft. I believe everyone has the potential to create something amazing, and I’m passionate about helping people discover what that looks like for them.
